Ross & Wersching LLP obtained a $684,336.00 AAA arbitration award, including attorneys’ fees, costs, and interest, on behalf of its client, a worldwide manufacturer of children’s educational games. Ross & Wersching LLP proved that the defendant, an international manufacturer of video games, had breached a supply and distribution agreement and a stock purchase agreement.
Eric J. Wersching is Elected Trustee
Mr. Wersching has been elected to the Board of Trustees of UC Hastings College of the Law’s 1066 Foundation. The 1066 Foundation actively generates private donations for Hastings. Through scholarships and research support, students and faculty benefit directly from the Foundation's efforts. Mr. Wersching has been elected to a two-year term. |
Ross & Wersching LLP Obtains Jury Verdict
Ross & Wersching LLP recently obtained a jury verdict in the amount of $869,000.00 on behalf of its client, an importer of cosmetic packaging products, against a former exclusive agent. After a two week jury trial, the defendant was found liable for breach of contract, fraud, and breach of a fiduciary duty. In addition to receiving compensatory and punitive damages, Ross & Wersching LLP’s client also obtained a permanent injunction against the defendant and was awarded attorneys’ fees on its misappropriation of trade secrets cause of action.
