With awards of $39.4 million and $24.5 million for his business clients before the age of 40, Andrew G. Prout is an experienced first-chair trial lawyer and litigator. He serves as a Managing Partner of Ross, Wolcott, Teinert & Prout LLP.

Andrew has first-chaired more than ten trials and arbitrations, on both the plaintiff and defense side, collectively involving claims exceeding $250 million. In recent years, he has obtained over $100 million in plaintiffs’ verdicts and settlements, including a $39.4 million arbitration award confirmed in federal court and a $26 million settlement secured on the eve of trial for a public entity client. Andrew has led trial teams in multi-week jury trials and private arbitrations, consistently achieving favorable verdicts, complete defense judgments, and strategic settlements before trial.

Andrew’s experience ranges from first-chairing trials and arbitrations, to executing litigation strategy across complex civil matters, and counseling clients on business transactions and dispute resolution. Andrew’s passion for his clients shines through his courtroom advocacy and his creative, outside-the-box approach to problem solving.

Before joining the Firm, Andrew was a senior trial and litigation attorney at Theodora Oringher PC, a litigation and trial attorney at Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP, and a law clerk for Judge Timothy M. Tymkovich of the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
