Christopher Skinner, Esq.
Senior Counsel
Chris Skinner is a senior counsel in the firm who focuses on business litigation and trial work ranging from complex contract matters to intellectual property disputes to breach of fiduciary claims and everything in between. Never afraid to take a case to trial, Chris's broad spectrum of experiences gives his clients solace that they are in capable hands to achieve their litigation goals. And his aggressive tactics—derived from his athletic background—often results in favorable settlements for his clients.
During his time in practice, Chris was on the trial team—presenting closing arguments and eliciting devasting testimony (opposing counsel conceded that he almost threw up during lunch thereafter) from the other side during cross examination—that obtained a groundbreaking $6.3-million jury verdict on behalf of a photographer whose copyrights were willfully infringed. He also played an instrumental role on the trial team that won a seven-figure award in their client's favor on a slander of title claim related to a piece of property in San Clemente.
Away from the office, Chris devotes the majority of his spare time to his fiance Megan and their 4-year-old cat Haven, and he is never shy to cheer for his beloved San Francisco Giants, San Francisco 49ers, and Golden State Warriors.
